In today’s environment in which our loved ones, families, friends, and even customers and clients face daily threats to their safety and well being we all find a need to protect ourselves against criminals, con-artists, hackers, and even terrorists. Most of us rely on the effectiveness of our local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to help protect us and keep us safe. Unfortunately with declining public resources it has become readily apparent that public service agencies alone cannot provide all of the necessary protection to keep our loved ones safe. More and more businesses and residents have turned to private security services to supplement local law enforcement efforts. However, relying on relatively low paid, often poorly screened, and minimally trained personnel to provide vital security protection has often resulted in less than satisfactory results. Inadequate security or no security at all often results in costly lawsuits and unnecessary judgments against property owners and businesses in addition to ruined reputations that can ultimately close a business.
As grim as all of this may seem, there is hope. Blue Knight Services Hawaii has been created with the intent of setting the level of excellence standard for the security industry. We have adopted the philosophy of “Doing things the right way.”
